Tag Hot-Stamping
Tags can be Hot-Stamped in successive order (ex. 1,2,3...) for tracking and identification of livestock. Below is further information pertaining to Hot-Stamping Pricing and guidelines.
Tag Hot-Stamping Pricing
- 1 to 3 numbers: $0.15 per tag
- Each additional number: $0.05 per tag
- Letters: $0.15 per tag, in addition to the numbers.
- Letter sizes: 1 ¾ inch, 1 ¼ or ¾ inch high
Tag Hot-Stamping Numbering Policy
Jumbo Tags
Number size is 1 ¾ inches, 1 ¼ inches or ¾ inches high.
- Tags with 1 ¾ inch numbers:
- Tags must be numbered 000-999 (There must be 3 numbers on the tag.)
- Tag can have a letter above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag.
- Tags with 1 ¼ inch numbers:
- Tags can have up to 4 digits: 0-9999. Single numbers can be done, but there must be at least 2 numbers on the tag or the numbers will be off-centered.
- Tags can have a letter above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag, a die above or below the numbers, OR a letter to the left or right of the numbers IF tag has 3 digits or less
- Tags with ¾ inch numbers:
- Tags can have up to 4 digits: 0-9999. Single numbers can be done, but there must be at least 2 numbers on the tag or the numbers will be off-centered.
- Tag can have a letter above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag OR a die above or below the numbers.
- Tag can have numbering on both sides of the tag. Numbers must offset - at the bottom of the tag on one side and the top of the tag on the other (so as not to compromise the composition of the tag). Numbers will be 1 ¼ inches tall.
Large Tags
Number size is 1 ¾ inches, 1 ¼ inches or ¾ inch high.
- Tags with 1 ¾ inch numbers:
- Tags must be numbered 000-999 (There must be 3 numbers on the tag.)
- Tag can have a letter above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag.
- Tags with 1 ¼ inch numbers:
- Tags can have up to 4 digits ranging from 0-9999. Single numbers can be done, but there must be at least 2 numbers on the tag or the numbers will be off-centered.
- Tag can have a letter above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag OR a die above or below the numbers.
- Tags with ¾ inch numbers:
- Tags can have up to 4 digits ranging from 0-9999. Single numbers can be done, but there must be at least 2 numbers on the tag or the numbers will be off-centered
- Tag can have a letter above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag OR a die above or below the numbers
Medium tags
Number size is 1 ¼ inches or ¾ inch high
- Tags can have 3 digits ranging from 0-999. Single numbers can be done, but there must be at least 2 numbers on the tag or the numbers will be off-centered
- Tag can have a letter or die above the numbers in the shoulder of the tag
Small tags
Number size is 1 ¼ inches or ¾ inch high
- Tags can have 3 digits ranging from 0-999. Single numbers can be done, but there must be at least 2 numbers on the tag or the numbers will be off-centered
Sheep tags
Number size is ½ inch high
- Tags can have 6 digits ranging from 0-999999. Single numbers can be done
